Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix Cancelled for April
Formula 1 has officially announced that the Bahrain Grand Prix and the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will not take place in April during the 2026 season. The decision was made after careful evaluations in light of the current situation in the Middle East.
Several alternatives were considered, but it was ultimately decided that no replacement events will be held in April. As a result, the FIA Formula 2, FIA Formula 3, and F1 Academy rounds that were scheduled to support the events will also not take place.
The decision was made in consultation with the FIA and the respective Grand Prix promoters.
